Wildcards
The youngest members of the Wildcards, Torami and Pyonko.
The Wildcards are a cast of Junior characters who learn how to play games together. Each character belongs to one of three troupes, and each troupe has a teacher that the others learn from.
In Junior game instructions and articles, these characters chime in during longer bouts of dense information to illustrate examples or provide clarification in the form of group chats.
Hanafuda Troupe
The hanafuda troupe joined in 2019, to learn how to play with Junior Hanafuda.

- Uribō is a boar determined to win. Though, he gets frustrated easily.
- Shigakoro is a deer interested in details. He likes to point them out.
- Pyonko is the youngest. They’re a curious frog who’s often lucky.
- Tsuru-sensei is the eldest. She’s patient with these eager learners.
Hanakaruta Troupe
The hanakaruta troupe has been in training since 2023.

- Torami is the youngest. She’s a tiger with a thousand questions.
- Ponkichi is a troublemaking tanuki. His cleverness backfires.
- Inari is a studious fox. She’s passionate and analyzes everything.
- Ryū-sensei is the eldest. He’s a dragon keen to share his wisdom.
Carta Troupe
The playing card troupe has been learning games to play with Junior Playing Cards and Junior Royals since 2021.

- Felix is a classic trickster graced with jester’s privilege.
- Merle is a skeptical wizard with something to hide. (??)
- Lance is a jealous jack who’s proudly a lover and a fighter.
- Cesar is a king with a lot to learn, but he’s getting there.
- Judy is a generous queen, bestowing knowledge upon the court.
